Dont want the crowds @ Hanauma Bay? Then a catamaran ride to Turtle Canyons is just for you!
A FREE shuttle will pick you up ~8am (you will be back around 12pm) & take you to Kewalo Basin (south shore), where you will embark in one of O‘ahu’s newest & most impressive catamarans, the Makani. After a safety briefing you will set sail towards Turtle Canyons, while enjoying breakfast pastries, coffee, fresh fruit & a couple of complimentary alcoholic drinks. Upon reaching turtle canyons you will be fitted with professional grade snorkel gear, fins, & a life vest. Plunge into the warm Hawaiian waters & snorkel just enough to not get too tired! Turtle Canyons is where all the turtles go to get “cleaned” by other fish, so expect to see many colorful varieties unique to the island. After that you will set sail & enjoy the beautiful views of Diamondhead, Waikiki, & the Ko‘olau Mountain Range. If you’re lucky you will see packs of mischievous dolphins racing with the Makani, & in the winter season maybe even a whale (Dec.- April)! This trip leaves Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays, so make sure to book in advance! Don’t forget your camera!
